Innocent as Sin (Book 2) By Author C. A. Asbrey – Book Review

Robbing a bank in Everlasting, Wyoming, Nat Quinn and Jake Conroy are shocked to find Pinkerton agent Abigail MacKay there. Their paths have crossed again, and Abigail desperately doesn’t want them to blow her cover in a job she’s been working on for months. Discovering she is working with a bounty hunter who never brings in his prisoners alive, they know they are the target. How could she betray them like this?

Nobody can leave town, thanks to being snowed in. They agree to work together to solve the problem of a frozen murdered corpse which has been dumped at the local church where out of towners, including Nat and Jake, are sheltering. Can they solve the murder before anyone else is killed?

Abi and Nat give into their shared love, but the real problem is the fact that they’re on opposite sides of the law.

Lots happens in the second book in the Innocents series, and I can see why there is more to come. Thoroughly enjoyed this book, and looking forward to the next one!

I award 4.5 stars.
