It is important for children to grow up realising they can have dreams and aspire to be something great. They should believe they can achieve, if they put their mind to it. Join the girl who could be anything as she considers everything she could be, but remember, not all girls want to be princesses. Peter A Johnson once again creates a book to support children's growth mindset. He believes that children should be able to achieve and we should celebrate being brave enough to push the boundaries of what we can be as we grow. Use this book to open up conversations and encourage your little one to be something great.

The Girl Who Could Be Anything By Author Peter A. Johnson – Book Review

A powerful poem that drives home the importance of dreams and self-esteem, The Girl Who Could Be Anything encourages all children to go after what they want.

The book tells the story of a little girl who’s thinking about what she might be in life. As well as celebrating the many talents and achievements of different career pathways, it also models to children that anyone can be anything if they put their heart and soul into achieving their dream.

Told entirely through poem form, the book comes across in a positive and joyous way. There’s the odd stanza where the rhyme and rhythm doesn’t work but on the whole, it’s a well-written verse that will meander musically into children’s minds. The illustrations are detailed and bring the story to life although haven’t printed perfectly in places.

The Book Dragon reviewed this fantastic pocket of inspiration on behalf of the author and awards it 4 stars.
